Well now this is a interesting project that catches much and well deserved attention, with the help of his father and friends and a special thanks to Ray at Grant Springers for building a most impressive engine most people have laid eyes upon. The rest of the truck has some catching up to do, :), Well here we go, it started out as a 4 bolt 350 mostly all stock, what we ended up with is another story, a 385 stroker with Scat stainless steel crank and connecting rods, forged of course, Icon step-down forged aluminum pistons to put the compressions at 9.1 to 1, Procomp aluminum heads with 2.02 and 1.94 valves with a 1.6 rocker arms by Comp Cams to survive the abuse and keep the engine breathing right, a custom grind by Bullet and Isky valve Springs to complete roller cam upgrade. To feed enough air to make the engine happy there is a Vortech V-3 Si supercharger that will wind up to 5 or 6 psi of boost, we hope to put down about 600 on the dynamic, but it is all being by me and the new fast xfi sportsman efi, a major new learning curve, but the software is fairly easy and the install was a breeze.....I will update this when I get more work done on it. Thanks for checking it out. It what keeps me going from day to day.
